Leitão & Irmão protects the privacy and personal data of its customers. Access to the database is restricted. The database is not provided to third parties.To make a purchase at our online store you must fill in the following data: name, billing address, delivery address, e-mail address, telephone number and credit card/debit card data for payments by these means.
Only with this information can we process and invoice your order and contact you if necessary.
We shall not provide your personal information to third parties, whether individuals or businesses, except your address for the transportation company. The data are confidential and protected.

Prices
The prices of the pieces are stated in euros (€), include VAT at the legal rate and may or may not include delivery charges (information provided during the purchase).Leitão & Irmão reserves the right to change prices and delivery costs, if any, at any time.
Technically, there is a possibility of pricing, spelling or description, errors, and therefore all orders are checked. In the event that the information published on the website is not correct, we will contact you by email to rectify the inaccuracy and confirm whether you wish to maintain the order.
Product availability
Orders received by the online store are subject to existing stocks. If the item is out of stock we shall contact the customer to suggest alternatives or inform the delivery date.Payment means
The Leitão & Irmão online store provides the following payment means for its customers:- ATM reference;
- Visa or MasterCard Credit Card;
- Paypal;
- Bank transfer.
Registration
To make purchases at the Leitão & Irmão online store you are required to register just once. The data required to process, bill and deliver your order will be requested.Once registered, you will have a username and password allowing access to your private area.
Users undertake to ensure the confidentiality of their username and password, and Leitão & Irmão disclaims any liability arising from incorrect use by or negligence of the user.
All data are treated in accordance with our privacy policy.
The information entered by the user when registering in the Reserved Area is used exclusively by Leitão & Irmão.
Purchases
You may make purchases at the Leitão & Irmão online store in two ways:a. Login at the beginning, add your purchases to the cart and finalise the purchase;
b. Add your purchases to the cart and login only when you have finished your purchases.
Order cancellation
The customer may cancel the order provided it has not yet been processed. Cancellation of the order can be formalised via e-mail addressed to web.leitao@leitao-irmao.com.The customer must mention the order number and the taxpayer number.
Right to Reconsider
Within 14 (calendar) days of receiving the product, the customer may return it without any need to provide a reason of any kind.Exceptions to this returns policy include engraved pieces and pieces personalised at the customer's request.
For the purpose, information must be sent by e-mail to web.leitao@leitao-irmao.com.
In the e-mail the customer must invoke the Right to Reconsider, stating the order number, the invoice number and the customer’s taxpayer number.
The piece must be returned in its original box and without any sign of use, together with the invoice.
The costs of returning the order by invoking the Right to Reconsider are for the account of the customer.
When returning the piece you must ensure proof of transport and delivery thereof, since Leitão & Irmão cannot be held accountable in the event of loss.
In the event of loss Leitão & Irmão accepts no liability.
Returns
Within 14 (calendar) days of receiving the product, the customer may return of any pieces broken or in poor state of repair.For the purpose, prior information must be sent by e-mail to web.leitao@leitao-irmao.com.
Upon the return, the customer must explain the situation, stating the order number, the invoice number and the customer’s taxpayer number.
The piece must be returned in its original box and without any sign of use, together with the invoice.
When returning the piece you must ensure proof of transport and delivery thereof, since Leitão & Irmão cannot be held accountable in the event of loss.
In the event of loss Leitão & Irmão accepts no liability.
Leitão & Irmão will collect the piece to be returned only from the same address to which it was delivered by Leitão & Irmão. The costs of a new delivery are also borne by Leitão & Irmão.
Exchanges
The customer may, within 90 days, return the piece for the purpose of exchanging it for one or more other pieces of the same or greater value.For the purpose, information must be sent by e-mail addressed to web.leitao@leitao-irmao.com.
In the e-mail the customer must invoke Exchange, stating the order number, the invoice number and the customer’s taxpayer number.
The piece must be returned in its original box and without any sign of use, together with the invoice.
The costs of returning the order invoking Exchange are for the account of the customer.
When returning the piece you must ensure proof of transport and delivery thereof, since Leitão & Irmão cannot be held accountable in the event of loss.
In the event of loss Leitão & Irmão accepts no liability.
Delivery places and countries
Delivery to PO Boxes or hotels will not be considered.Leitão & Irmão delivers to in all countries of the European Union without restriction.
Deliveries outside the European Union are subject to the customs policy of each country.
For deliveries outside the European Union the customer will always be forewarned of these conditions.
Shipping information
Delivery timesDelivery times are indicated next to each piece.
For pieces in stock the delivery time is normally 5 business days.
Note: for pieces requiring engraving the delivery time is normally 8 business days.
Delivery costs
Delivery costs are influenced by the value of the purchase, the size of the piece and the place of delivery.
The costs are clearly shown before you complete your purchase and are included in the final amount payable.
Certificates and guarantees
The purchase invoice accompanying the piece serves as the guarantee. Please keep it carefully.In their manufacture Leitão & Irmão pays particular attention to the quality of the pieces and, as a rule exceeds the guarantees stipulated by law.
