Summer, sun, heat,
The beach or pool, a day at the gym, sunscreen and then a shower with various body and hair products can change the look of jewelry.
Giving preference to simple pieces in noble metals such as gold, silver or platinum is a good option if you don't want to do without a special look that reflects even more of the sun's glow on hot, long days.
Noble metals, particularly gold and platinum, are less prone to changing color, oxidizing or even rusting when exposed to elements that can affect their original appearance.
Silver Sea Collection. Available from June 1st to September 31st.
SILVER
Silver's oxidation depends a lot on the environment it is subjected to.
Depending on the PH of each skin, it may oxidize faster or slower. In direct contact with skin with a Alkaline pH, the silver will oxidize more visibly. On a skin with a Acid PHoxidation will sometimes be almost non-existent.
Contact with the sea and sea air is also not beneficial for silver, as its humidity will easily cause oxidation. However, a swim in the sea in contact with acidic PH skin will make the jewel shine!
GOLD
Seawater is rich in salts and other minerals that can be corrosive to many metals.
However, gold is highly resistant to corrosion, and probably the precious metal that will behave best. It's always possible, however, that at the end of the summer you'll see some discoloration or tarnishing due to the gold in the jewelry being broken down into an alloy.
At the end of the summer, you can have your jewelry serviced.
Herdade da Malhadinha Nova
In the case of silver, swimming pools with sulphurous or thermal waters will actually oxidize your pieces. Avoid using it in these environments.
Sand on the beach creates friction and scratches. Take care when wearing rings.
In any case, it is essential to wash the jewelry with fresh water and neutral detergent at the end of the day, and to dry it properly with a soft towel and a hairdryer that is not too hot.
Make sure that all the mechanisms, such as springs, zippers, etc., are working properly so that you don't lose any parts once your movements are more relaxed.

Avoid pieces with stones or pearls.
Regarding RINGScold water tends to reduce the size of fingers and sunscreens make jewelry slip off. Pay particular attention.

May I suggest that some of your most eye-catching pieces with Precious stones or pearls they can always be worn at summer dinners with friends, as an extension of a look that, although usually more relaxed, can still have an added sparkle...
Have a sensual and luminous summer, and retain the magic of the sun with your favorite pieces!
