Leitão & Irmão has created a collection of silver dogs that honours man's best friend - the dog.
In this edition, the Leitão & Irmão workshops have created a replica of the Doberman.

Dobermann
The Dobermann is loyal, affectionate and protective of his home. A breed that needs an owner who will devote their time and attention to it.
At the end of the 19th century, a German night watchman with several dog breeds, in charge of a kennel and tax collector called Mr Louis Dobermann needed the ultimate protection dog to accompany him on his rounds. It is assumed that the Dobermann descended from Rottweilers and German Dogs for their size and strength, Greyhounds for their speed, and Manchester Terriers for their elegant coat and graceful silhouette, as well as the tenacity of terriers. Other breeds that eventually shared their lineage were Schnauzers, German Pinschers, German Shepherds, Shorthaired Pointers and Weimaraners.

All the pieces are signed Leitão & Irmão, marked with the manufacturer's punch and certified by the INCM National Assay Office.

Some works are numbered and signed by the artist who created them.
