Leitão & Irmão has created a collection of silver dogs that honours man's best friend - the dog.
In this edition, Leitão & Irmão workshops have created a replica of the animated Beagle.

Beagle
Beagles are generally hardy and bold dogs with docile expressions and are compact and athletic. They have short, dense, weather-resistant coats and can come in a variety of colours and patterns.
Beagles are generally docile dogs and as pack dogs are sociable with most animals. The Beagle is a good watchdog and likes to bark, however it is not a great guard dog due to its social side.
"Begles" is a French term meaning "open mouth". It is a reference to the animal's tendency to bark in a pack. The breed's ancestors are the Foxhound, the Harrier and a small "Bloodhound" sniffer dog known as the "Kerry Beagle".

Leitão & Irmão pieces are of their own design, developed and manufactured in the Leitão & Irmão workshops in Lisbon according to the most rigorous jewellery, goldsmithing and silverware techniques, with expertise passed down from generation to generation over 200 years of existence.

All the pieces are signed Leitão & Irmão, marked with the manufacturer's punch and certified by the INCM National Assay Office.

Some works are numbered and signed by the artist who created them.
