Existe também disponível nas lojas Leitão & Irmão uma seleção de peças provenientes de fornecedores selecionados pelas nossas equipas, cuja produção é externa às nossas oficinas próprias. Whenever possible, we prioritise partnerships with national producers, both for the creation of our own pieces and for finished items offered for sale.

The precious metals used in Leitão & Irmão pieces come from suppliers accredited by the RJC (Responsible Jewellery Council) or certified with the CoC (Chain of Custody) standard, ensuring full traceability from mine extraction to their use as raw material. They may also come from the recycling of existing pieces.

All gemstones used in Leitão & Irmão jewellery are "Conflict Free", meaning they originate from conflict-free zones and are sourced through fair trade practices.

Yes. We offer an exclusive bespoke jewellery service, allowing clients to personalise design, materials, and engravings. Our team of assistants, designers, and master goldsmiths accompanies the entire process to create a truly unique piece, tailored to each client.

Production time varies depending on the complexity of the piece. On average, a bespoke order takes between 4 to 6 weeks to complete. More intricate pieces may require additional time.

The design and quotation process will also vary according to the nature of the piece. We dedicate all the time necessary until the final design is exactly as you envision.

Yes. Leitão & Irmão provides a secure online shop, offering delivery both within Portugal and internationally. All transactions are protected, and each order is carefully packaged to ensure your jewellery arrives in perfect condition.

To find your ring size using your finger:

  • Use a soft measuring tape.
  • Wrap it around the finger where the ring will be worn and note where it meets. Ensure you are measuring in centimetres (not inches).
  • Refer to the size chart on the ring’s product page to find the corresponding Leitão & Irmão size.

To find your size using an existing ring:

  • Choose a ring which fits comfortably on the desired finger.
  • Measure the inner diameter of the ring in millimetres (mm) using a ruler.
  • Refer to the size chart on the ring’s product page to find the corresponding Leitão & Irmão size.

Yes. We provide restoration, maintenance, and cleaning services for antique pieces, preserving their historical and sentimental value. All interventions are carried out by our master goldsmiths.

Yes. All our pieces are accompanied by a certificate of authenticity, which includes information about the metal, gemstones, and serial number, ensuring both originality and traceability.

We accept credit and debit cards, bank transfer, PayPal, Payshop, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and Cofidis.

Orders are shipped via specialised carriers — DPD and FedEx — with tracking and insurance included. Delivery times depend on the client’s location and range from 3 to 10 working days after the piece’s completion.

Deliveries within the Lisbon area may be made in person through our dedicated delivery service.

Due to the nature of our products, Leitão & Irmão does not accept returns. However, we do allow exchanges for pieces of equal or greater value.

To request an exchange, you must present the invoice or gift receipt, ensure the item is in its original box, and that it shows no signs of wear.

You have 30 days to make an exchange at any of our physical stores or online. To make a remote exchange, please contact our online shop team or send an email to [email protected] . In the email, please include the subject “Exchange” and mention your order and invoice number.

Return shipping costs for exchanges are the responsibility of the client.

When returning the piece, please ensure proof of shipment and delivery, as Leitão & Irmão cannot be held responsible in the event of loss.

Personalised pieces are not eligible for exchange.

All jewellery is inherently sustainable.

Both metals and gemstones are too valuable to be destroyed.

At Leitão & Irmão, all metals are reused and reintroduced into the production cycle, and gemstones are recovered and reused whenever possible.

Our goldsmiths’ benches are designed in the traditional way — with a drawer beneath the workspace — to collect every fragment and residue, ensuring nothing goes to waste.
