In 1982, Leitão & Irmão invited sculptor Graça Costa Cabral to create a unique nativity scene for the visit of His Holiness Pope John Paul II to Portugal.
This special creation was offered to the Pope as an official gift from the Portuguese State, symbolizing the union between faith, art, and Portuguese tradition.
